The Plumbing Company Terms of Service


These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of plumbing services provided by The Plumbing Company, an affiliate of Simpli Plumbing Corp and its affiliated marketing entities (collectively referred to as “the Company”). By engaging with our services, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.


  1. Scope of Services


The Plumbing Company, along with its affiliated marketing entities, offers a variety of plumbing services, including but not limited to repairs, installations, maintenance, hydro jetting, cabling, and related plumbing works (“Services”). Detailed descriptions of each service can be found on our website at https://www.losangelescaplumbing.com.


  1. Service Agreement


By scheduling an appointment or allowing our technicians to perform services, you agree to the terms outlined in this agreement. Our technicians are skilled professionals trained to perform plumbing tasks with expertise and care.


  1. Limitation of Liability


While The Plumbing Company strives to deliver high-quality services, it is important to note that unforeseen circumstances may arise during plumbing work. We hereby declare that we are not responsible for any damage to pre-existing plumbing systems or fixtures during the course of our services.


In particular, The Plumbing Company is not liable for any damages to old plumbing or incorrect plumbing installed by Homeowners or commercial customers or unlicensed or licensed contractors as a result of hydro jetting, cabling, or any plumbing work performed by Simpli Plumbing Corp or its affiliated marketing entities. This includes but is not limited to damage resulting from the inherent risks associated with plumbing interventions, such as potential issues with outdated plumbing systems.


  1. Customer Responsibility


It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate information about their plumbing system and any known issues. Customers must also disclose any concerns or conditions that may affect the provision of plumbing services.


Customers are encouraged to remove any personal belongings or items of value from the vicinity of plumbing worksites to prevent potential damage or loss.


  1. Payment and Pricing


Payment for services rendered is due upon completion, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Pricing for services is determined based on the scope of work, materials required, and other relevant factors. Customers will be provided with a flat-rate price of costs before services commence.


Accepted payment methods include credit cards, checks, and cash. Late payment fees may apply if payment is not received within 2 days of completion.


  1. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation


The Company endeavors to accommodate customer scheduling preferences to the best of its ability. In the event of a necessary appointment cancellation or rescheduling, we kindly request that customers provide reasonable notice, preferably at least 24 hours in advance, to avoid inconvenience to both parties.


  1. Warranty


We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials used. The Plumbing Company offers a 90-day warranty on labor and a separate warranty on materials used, as specified in your service agreement. Please refer to your service agreement or contact us directly for warranty details.


  1. Amendments to Terms


The Plumbing Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Customers will be notified of changes via email or through our website. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the Terms periodically for changes.


  1. Governing Law


These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.


  1. Affiliation with Marketing Entities


The Plumbing Company operates as an affiliate of Simpli Plumbing Corp and multiple affiliated marketing entities, including but not limited to LA Plumbing, Drain King Plumbing Pros. These affiliated marketing entities may utilize various business names, such as “Plumbing Pros” and others, when advertising our services. While customers may interact with different business names, it is important to note that all such interactions ultimately lead to Simpli Plumbing Corp.


Please be aware that regardless of the business name under which you initially engage our services, the plumbing services provided are carried out by Simpli Plumbing Corp. These Terms and Conditions apply uniformly to all affiliated marketing entities and customers interacting with our plumbing services.


  1. Refund Policy


We value your satisfaction with our services. Our refund policy outlines the circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund:

  1. Cancelled Services: If you cancel a scheduled service appointment with The Plumbing Company, we understand that situations may arise requiring cancellations. In such cases, refunds may be processed as follows:

– Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment may be eligible for a full refund.

– Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded.


  1. Unsatisfactory Service: We strive to provide top-quality plumbing services. If you are dissatisfied with our work, please contact us within 5 days of service completion to discuss your concerns. In cases where it is determined that our services did not meet reasonable expectations, a refund or partial refund may be issued, as agreed upon by both parties.


  1. Billing Errors: If you believe there has been an error in the billing of your service, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the matter promptly, and if an error is found, the appropriate refund or adjustment will be made.


  1. Warranty Claims: If you experience issues covered under our warranty, please refer to your service agreement or contact us for warranty details. In cases where a warranty claim is approved, appropriate refunds or adjustments will be made in accordance with the warranty terms.


  1. Refund Process: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Please allow 14 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.


  1. Refund Exclusions: Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

– Damage or issues resulting from negligence, misuse, or failure to follow our recommended maintenance procedures.

– Any damages or issues unrelated to the services provided by The Plumbing Company.

– Refunds requested after the specified timeframes mentioned in this policy.


By engaging with our plumbing services, you acknowledge and agree to our refund policy as outlined in these Terms of Service.

  1. Dispute Resolution


In the event of any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising from or relating to these Terms or the services provided by Simpli Plumbing Corp, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiations.


Mediation: If an amicable resolution cannot be reached through negotiations within a reasonable timeframe, both parties agree to engage in non-binding mediation by a neutral third party. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally between the parties, unless otherwise determined by the mediator.


Arbitration: If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, both parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or another mutually agreed-upon arbitration service. The decision rendered by the arbitrator(s) shall be final and binding on both parties, and judgment may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.


Exceptions: Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive relief or legal action in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including but not limited to breaches of confidentiality or intellectual property rights.


Costs: Each party shall be responsible for its own attorney’s fees, costs, and expenses incurred in any dispute resolution process, except as otherwise provided by applicable law or arbitration rules.


Governing Law: This dispute resolution section shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of California.
